Mistabishi @ Oh My God, Opus, 29.05.09

Another stonking night ensued last week as the Oh My God delivered on fine form. Pulling Hospital's prodigal son, Mistabishi, the dance floor was packed all night with people fighting for the right to rave. Wizzdom caused chaos with his eclectic mix of liquid, jump-up and classic heavy-weight tracks. If you get a chance to see Wizzdom go, as this guy is gonna be big one day.
Mistabishi was delicious. He has such a varied cartel of amazing tunes, so each set he plays can go in any direction. His innovative "Printer Jam" got the crowds suitably hyped, which is quite an achievement considering the song is made entirely from the sounds of printers! When he played my favourite, "No Matter What" everyone seemed to sway in unison to the piano and heavy bass harmony. Mistabishi's LP "Drop" is out now and is a must for any bass lovers collection.
